Enrol for 2012 classes in Ballet or Jazz

Shore Dance offers a wide range of ballet and jazz dance classes, taught in a professional, safe and friendly atmosphere.

We offer fun pre-school dance classes to 3 and 4 year olds, based on the Royal Academy of Dance Preschool Curriculum which aims to "capture and nurture young children’s instinctive joy of movement and freedom of expression".

From 5 years of age, students are taught the Royal Academy of Dance Graded Syllabus, an internationally renowned syllabus. Students will progress through the Pre-Ballet, Pre-Primary, and Primary levels when aged 5 and 6 years old. The RAD Graded Syllabus from age 7 years includes classical ballet, free movement, and character dance. After Grade 5, students have the opportunity to continue with the Vocational Graded Syllabus which introduces pointe work. All of our teachers are fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance Registered teachers.

Shore Dance is also registered with A.J.D.A. (American Jazz Dance Affiliation), a fun and exciting syllabus that is taught in our jazz classes (aged 5+ years).

All of our classes are held in our purpose-built dance studios, located conveniently on Rawene Road in the heart of Birkenhead.
