The focus of our Hip Hop classes will be developing and working on rhythm for younger students, which is a core aspect for any genre of dance not just hip hop. Each age group will be taught fun and energetic choreographed sequences to their specific levels. At present there are no exams or syllabi to be taught as the hip hop classes will just be for the enjoyment of it and as stated above to help build rhythmic ability in different styles of hip hop dance. We also hope to instil a passion and knowledge for this art form.

 

The childrens hip hop classes are held at our second studio, St John the Baptist Anglican Church Hall located at 47 Church Street (off Onewa Rd), Northcote. Classes are held on a Tuesday evening at the following times:

 

4:00pm: 6-8yrs

4:45pm: 9-11yrs

5:30pm: 12+yrs

 

All classes are 45minutes long, and the term fees are $80.00 for all hip hop classes.
